The Media4Elements production location belongs to the property of OffTEC Base GmbH & Co. KG in Enge-Sande, North Frisia. The former naval ammunition depot is today, among other things, a training location for the wind and maritime industries.
The Maritime Training Center, or MTC, is the setting for realistic underwater and surface filming under controlled conditions.
Maritime Trainings-Centrum
In the center of the site is the Maritime Training Center (MTC). The 25m x 13m x 5.50m indoor pool with a water level of 4.20m is equipped with a gantry crane, wave and wind generators as well as light and sound systems, which allow to realistically recreate storm scenarios in a safe environment.

Fire shelter
Fire training sessions are held regularly on campus with our specialist staff. They know exactly about the possibilities and dangers of the element fire, assess your ideas and ambitiously implement desired film motifs.

Terrain
The landscape is characterized by heaths, coniferous and mixed forests. The campus is completely enclosed by a fence, which minimizes disruptive factors.

Road network & sightlines
A wide network of roads stretches across the site and can be used separately from the public. No land permits are required to use roadways or natural landscapes for productions. Long sight lines surrounded by greenery alternate with intersections, clearings and large asphalted squares.

Wind energy turbines
OffTEC Base includes several wind energy turbines. The special feature: Some of them are offshore turbines with the characteristic housings. Our team consists of absolute professionals in their field and will be pleased to show you the conditions of a shoot on or at wind energy turbines as an extraordinary height motif.

Security provider OffTEC Base
OffTEC Base as an affiliated company and subcontractor of the Maritime Training Center, has been a provider of safety training since 2010.
Unser Team setzt sich aus Spezialisten auf ihrem Gebiet zusammen. Trainings in Verbindung mit Elementen setz absolute Handlungssicherheit voraus, um Teilnehmende vor Ort auf den Ernstfall vorzubereiten.
As preparation we offer in this course among other things a water habituation.
